The Employee Experience Index (EXI) is a metric designed to measure employees' personal experiences at work, focusing on aspects such as belonging, purpose, achievement, happiness, and vigor. Developed through research by IBM and Workhuman, the EXI is used to assess how these experiences correlate with key outcomes like work performance, discretionary effort, and turnover intention.
