Stay Interview

A stay interview is a conversation between an employer and an employee aimed at understanding the reasons why the employee stays with the company and what might encourage them to remain long-term. Unlike an exit interview, which occurs when an employee is leaving, a stay interview focuses on retention by identifying factors that contribute to employee satisfaction, engagement, and motivation. It provides an opportunity for managers to address concerns, recognize achievements, and strengthen the employee-employer relationship.
